Natural Curve Quick

The Natural Curve Quick is a four-radius profile with its strongest emphasis on acceleration and speed, while still providing strong agility and stability. It’s designed to let different areas of the blade handle different parts of the skating stride rather than asking one radius to do everything.

The profile uses a small 5′ front radius for quick engagement and acceleration, a 10′ section for crossovers, turns and changes of direction, a large 26′ section to support glide, stability and balance, and a 6.5′ finishing radius that helps the profile transition into the existing blade shape.

SSM developed the Natural Curve series in cooperation with the Sweden Hockey Institute. Their design uses two equally high points intended to improve body position and skating power while retaining high frequency, with particular emphasis on turning, maintaining speed through turns, crossover skating and backward skating.

Sizing: Natural Curve Quick Small — 246–254 mm, and it also works on smaller sizes. Natural Curve Quick Medium — 263–272 mm. Natural Curve Quick Large — 280–288 mm.
